A little "trick", quick and cheap: boil some mint leaves for 10 minutes (use 3 or more leaves). Why? Well, this low-effort task has many benefits and pleasant effects.
Mint is one of the most beloved and widespread aromatic herbs globally, and is used in a thousand recipes, from desserts to savory dishes to delicious summer drinks and more; and its pleasant scent is unmistakable.

There many varieties of the mint plants, some with amazing shapes and colors: almost all varieties of mint are very easy to grow, and are also very hardy. So, it is always worth while growing some mintbat home - for the kitchen, of course, but for other purposes too.
If you take even just 3 mint leaves and boil them in a small pot of water for 10 minutes, you will release all the scent of the plant: the house will smell fresh and clean, and if perhaps you have different types of mint, you will also smell the differences in their aromas. Some species are more pungent, others are very sweet! And boiling mint is certainly cheaper than buying expensive air fresheners.
The scent from the leaves will continue to be released even after you stop boiling them: in fact, the liquid can be transferred (when it cools) into a spray bottle so you have a natural deodorant to hand, to be sprayed on curtains, upholstery and fabrics in general, but also around the rooms. And you could also use the liquid as mint base to create a bouquet of aromas by adding two or three drops of essential oils that go well with it, such as lemon or lavender.
