Having long and thick eyelashes has always been a sign of beauty and create the depth of the look - and helps to give harmony and freshness to one's face. It is no coincidence then, that mascara is one of the most used make-up products and are a critical element in anyone's beauty case. And what about false eyelashes? Those who have tried them, know how inconvenient and difficult they are to carry around and use.

And today, more radical and permanent treatments such as eyelash extensions or laminations can be used as an alternative to mascara and false eyelashes. These, and other new aesthetic techniques, allow you to show off sophisticated and beautiful looks. They do, however, come at a cost and require you to undergo treatments that are time-consuming and can cause physical discomfort. Why not try, then, to take care of your lashes with simple, natural and easy to follow tips?

We have listed below some ideals to take care of your eyes daily, improving their health and beauty.

1 - Apply serums and comb your lashes

The first good tip to take care of the beauty of your eyelashes is to comb them often using suitable brushes. There is no scientific evidence that this stimulates their growth, but many make-up artists and professionals in the sector recommend this. For sure, brushing and combing lashes properly makes them more beautiful and prevents them from breaking or falling off easily. If you add the daily application of a good serum to the habit of combing them, your eyelashes will certainly improve. There are excellent serums on the market, even those that are not too expensive.

2 - Vegetable oils

An excellent cure-all for eyelashes, as with many other remedies, are some types of vegetable oils. The most used, in these cases, are olive oil, coconut oil and castor oil. In all three, the fatty acids contained in them are particularly useful for moisturizing, softening and strengthening the lashes.

To use, just dip a disposable mascara brush into the oil and comb the lashes gently. This is the ideal method to make the oil be absorbed properly. Alternatively, just put two drops on your fingers or a cotton ball and massage in. This routine, carried out daily and consistently, will greatly benefit your eyelashes. And all without having to resort to chemicals.

3 - Green Tea

Another all-natural remedy is green tea. Try dipping a cotton ball in cool green tea and wiping it on the lashline. If used consistently, the antioxidant properties of this ingredient will keep the lashes healthy, stimulating their growth.

4 - Aloe vera

Aloe vera, known for its skin-soothing properties, can also be used in eyelash and eyebrow care. According to some studies, what helps to stimulate growth is the high levels of humidity and hydration that aloe vera provides. This will promote greater follicular development, making the lashes healthier. Just be careful not to get the aloe vera come into contact with the inside of your eyes, and make sure you don't have any allergies to it first.

5 - Omega 3

Try supplements based on omega 3 fatty acids. They are found in many foods and are really important for our health. Apparently, they are also good for the eyelashes. So taking it through supplements might be a good idea.

6 - Biotin

Then there are biotin supplements, used extensively for hair care and growth. In many cases, it is excellent in this respect. Obviously, as some doctors point out, you must first make sure that you are not deficient in vitamins, iron or other nutritional components. In this case, without adequate supplementation of what else is missing, biotin will have no effect.

7 - Vitamin E

A last valuable recommendation can be to use vitamin E - which is easily found in shops (both in the form of oil to be applied and as a supplement). However, the considerations given above about biotin also applies here. If there are other nutritional deficiencies, using Vitamin E will not give any noticable results.

It is therefore a good idea to consult a doctor, and make sure you are healthy before taking supplements.
