Wrinkles between your eyebrows? Try these simple natural remedies to make them disappear
The passage of time, as well as other factors such as stress, frowning too often, the sun's rays and more, can leave marks on our face, and in particular in that area between the superciliary arches which is called glabella (i.e. the smooth part of the forehead above and between the eyebrows). When furrows are formed in this portion of the face, at the junction of the nose, they are called glabellar wrinkles.
Like all other wrinkles that form on the face, to eliminate these completely there are specific aesthetic procedures, but also a correct lifestyle and some beneficial natural DIY remedies can certainly help. Read on to find out more:
At the foundation of all the treatments against wrinkles is the hydration of the skin, which is obtained both from the consumption of enough water every day and from the use of moisturizing products. Among the most popular ingredients for preparing homemade remedies are:
- Natural white yogurt: mix 3 tablespoons with one of honey, a teaspoon of lemon juice and a few drops of vitamin E oil (or even a vitamin E capsule). Apply in an even layer on the face, paying particular attention to the area between the eyebrows and leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing off.
- Coconut oil or sweet almond oil: use a couple of drops, to be applied directly on the wrinkles, massaging gently with your fingertips. It is useful to do this before going to bed.
- Take the flesh of an avocado and reduce it to pulp with the help of a fork or a mixer, and place the mask paste thus obtained directly on the face, leaving it to act for 20 minutes before rinsing off. You can also add a spoonful of organic honey.
- There are those who also use egg whites, applied directly to wrinkles and rinsed off after 5-10 minutes.
Generally, the appearance of glabellar wrinkles can be countered with:
- A healthy diet with lots of water, as well as omega-3 supplements.
- Sleep a sufficient number of hours each night, and preferably on your back so as not to always rub your face on the pillow.
- Use sunscreen every day.
- Moisturize your skin morning and evening, and maybe even one more time during the day.
- Use an exfoliating product once a week to remove dead skin cells.
