The touch your entryway could be missing is the right wallpaper

The entrance/entryway to your house serves as your "business/greeting card", and determines nature of the first impressions your guests and visitors will get when they enter your home. So, why put up with a bland, boring or gloomy entryway?

Even when the entrance is small or awkwardly shaped, you can still do something to make it more beautiful: furniture, ornaments, a mirror and also... wallpaper! Sometimes, wallpaper can be just the thing to transform an entryway into something truly special

The basic idea here is to treat the entryway like an accent wall, and this is where wallpaper comes into play. Just a few will be sufficient to cover at least one wall in the entryway. What do you think of the example shown here with its delicate floral print?

This "checkering" is a traditional print but updated for modern times: this splendid patterning is certainly not boring!

If the entryway is large, using one color (or type of decor) throughout could be boring. And filling it with furniture and shelves could obstruct movement. So, what can be done? You can put up a photo gallery, of course, or you can do something even more "grand". In this example, wood paneling has been put up along the bottom section and the top has been covered with a wallpaper depicting a landscape in a classic style. Truly beautiful and unique.

There are instances in which the entryway is really small, perhaps limited to a single wall equipped with hooks, or a mini built-in closet. Well, even here a little wallpaper could make the difference, as can be seen in this example!

If you don't want to go overboard, you can also reduce the area of the wall to be covered with wallpaper to just one piece. A cheaper but effective approach, as you can see here.

Blue spirals on a white background: a very elegant choice, with a classic taste that always works well. As shown here, the combination of colors come together to make a wonderful overall impression.

Let's say the entryway is not much more than a niche in the wall: is this small area worth painting or wallpapering? You already know the answer - of course, yes. And above all, you can also afford to be bold, using more "flashy-type" prints, since the wallpaper will not cover much surface area.

If you don't know what color to paint the walls because there are so many possibilities, it is likely that there is a wallpaper available that has all the colors together in a pleasing print!

Here's another example of how you can be bold in using large and colorful designs, especially if the surroundings are dominated by neutral colours.

Have you already found the type of wallpaper you'll transform your entryway with?
