Organize all the towels in the house in a way that suits you best
Towels are used frequently and so we have to wash them frequently too. And towels laying around, especially in the kitchen, look very messy. However, there is an easy way to deal with this problem, by using various organizational accessories.
Baskets, shelves and other furnishing accessories: there is something for every taste! Keep reading to find out more:
The solution that works everywhere: a basket in the right place
If you're not sure where to start, try using a straw, wicker or similar-type basket: even if they don't work out for your towels, you can use them for a thousand other things.
A well-made basket which is not too bulky, will always makes a good impression in a corner of the bathroom. It will be perfect for storing both clean and dirty towels. Additionally, a basket can be pushed under a bench, placed in a open/closed closet or on shelf.
Courtesy towels and holders
If like having small towels around to dry hands - especially when you have guests over - have some clean ones out in a basket or decorative box which is in plain view. It will look great when placed near the sink and help create a good impression.
An alternative could be a wooden tray onto rolled up small towels are placed. This can also be located near the sink, but could also be placed on a nearby shelf.
An extra supply
For all the larger towels, you can use a wall-mounted towel holder bracket that will suit your tastes and match the decor of the bathroom.
Order in the closets
The space that your towels take up in the linen closet, should be well-organised. One way to do this - and making identification easy - is to use metal baskets.
If then you have towels that are used less often - or just an extra supply - then you can store these neatly and protected from dust by putting them in your travel cases.
Towels available where you need them
We don't need to mention how handy hooks are for towels. These hooks can be fixed to walls, but also to the edges of drawers and to furniture doors!
And if you have space for a stool near the bathtub or shower, you can place towels on this. Your bathroom will look like it's in a spa!
Let's not forget another furnishing solution which is very popular: a ladder leaning up against a wall with the towels stored on the rungs.
