  • Get a piece of cardboard that is the same size as the garment you need to fold and make a fold in it halfway up.
  • Place the garment to be folded face down on top of the cardboard and fold the sleeves inwards.
  • At this point, fold the two sides of the cardboard inwards.
  • Fold the lower part of the garment upwards towards its top.
  • Now your t-shirt, sweatshirt or sweater is ready for the wardrobe.

If you're not clear on these instructions, many video tutorials using this technique can be found online. The method just described is perfect for neatly folding most garments. In order to keep order in the closet, we suggest using pieces of cardboard between one item and another before putting them away.

Another method for folding clothes quickly is one suggested by Marie Kondo - a Japanese "tidying-up" expert.

Marie recommends storing your clothes so that they are arranged vertically in your drawers and are easily identifiable. By putting garments away in this way, your clothes will also take up less space, allowing you to store more inside your closet.

The method consists in flattening your clothes in order to eliminate any creases, then forming a rectangle by folding the two sides inward and then folding them in half and then in thirds to form small rectangles capable of holding itself upright.

By arranging your clothes this way in the drawers, your closets will be tidier for longer and each item will be easier to find.
