Need to clean the bathroom in a hurry? You can do it in just 10 minutes
We all know that there are cleaning chores that cannot be postponed, and on a regular basis we take the time to take care for every room in the house, including the bathroom. Indeed, this is perhaps the location we clean the most. But what can we do when life, commitments or unexpected events take over and we find ourselves without time to do everything? What if it's the day someone is about to come to visit the house?
Don't worry, you can tidy up and clean the bathroom in just ten minutes - you just need to do it with the right "attack strategy".
What do you need to clean the bathroom in a flash
A good strategy starts from equipping yourself with the right tools for the mission to be accomplished. In this case, we will need:
- Disinfectant wipes, or a disinfectant spray and some microfiber cloths
- The toilet brush
- Your favorite detergent for degreasing the shower and/or bathtub
- Sponge
- Dry cloths or absorbent paper
- Glass cleaner
- The mop: flat mops are better to which you can apply wet wipes or disposable dry ones.
It could also be useful to have a basket or box into which you can temporarily store things in.
How to clean the entire bathroom in 10 minutes
Some upbeat music and go! Do these things in order:
- Spray the detergent liberally into the tub or shower, and leave to act while you move on to the next step;
- Take care of the toilet: spray the same detergent into the bowl, while using the disinfectant (or wipes) and the cloth, rub over the outside of the toilet.
- Return to the shower or bathtub: it's time to scrub it with the sponge as you begin to rinse all the dirt away!
- Gloves on, as it's time to use the toilet brush in the toilet: scrub vigorously and then flush.
- Grab the glass cleaner and clean the mirror thoroughly. It's usually best to spray on a cloth and rub, but if you're in a hurry, you can also spray the entire mirror and then wash off. The ideal would also be to wipe off with a clean dry cloth to eliminate any residual marks.
- At this point, use the sanitary detergent to deal with the sink and possibly the shelf around it, with another cloth for scrubbing.
- All that remains is to remove any mess (or tidy up), using a basket and then wash the floor. Using the mop is best for this.
Now your bathroom is sufficient clean and ready to welcome any guests!
