What is one of the best allies in the fight against dirt? Well, it's definitely bicarbonate (baking soda). Excellent for almost any use, baking soda is fantastic for eliminating limescale, dirt build-up and bad smells. A little is enough to get the desired results. And if our problem is very dirty shower runners, just get a cup of bicarbonate of soda, mix it with 4 cups of water and create a creamy mixture.

Once done, get a toothbrush, apply the mixture to the affected area, scrub thoroughly and then leave on for about 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, wash thoroughly with running water and you will be amazed by the results. If, however, you are still not satisfied, you can repeat the operation a second time, or add another "magical" ingredient.

If using water and bicarbonate is not enough, you can add the juice of a lemon. The combination of this and bicarbonate will get the job done.

Vinegar can also be used to remove limescale and mold in the runners of our shower cubicle. Spray a mixture of water and vinegar on the affected areas, wait for at least 15 minutes and then dry off with a soft cloth.

So, what are you waiting for? Now's the time to return your shower to pristine condition!
