It's nice to have a pleasantly scented home, and there are some natural resources that can help us in this regard, such as basil. One of the most beloved aromatic herbs in the world, basil also has a very pleasant scent. Primarily used in the kitchen, basil can also be used as a natural deodorant and air freshener (just like lavender or mint).

You can make a general-purpose deodorant/air freshener easily with basil, and can even use this in your car!

Basil to deodorize the car? It's very easy!

It may seem odd, but you can easily deodorize your car using basil. In this case, we are talking about using fresh basil leaves.

In fact, all you need to do is to simply place a few sheets of newspaper in the car (perhaps in the trunk). On top of these sheets, arrange the basil leaves in a single layer and evenly spread out. The heat inside the car will act as a desiccator: as the leaves dry out, the interior of the car will fill with their unmistakable scent. In the end, you will have dried basil leaves that you can use for other purposes and your car will smell very pleasant.

Would you try this?
