Hairspray in the toilet: find out why it's useful to always have some to hand
The use we make of the toilet every day means that we need to clean it often and thoroughly. Despite this, the toilet can be challenging to keep pristine.
But to help us with this chore, we can use hair lacquer (aka hairspray). Let's find out together how you can use this product.

By using hairspray, the idea is that, by spraying a little inside the toilet bowl, you put down an invisible laquer layer which acts as a protective film so that dirt doesn't settle on the surface again too soon.
It is also said that the components of the hairspray will even help to sanitize the toilet by killing bacteria. But this is not so.
So, why might it be convenient to have a can of hairspray ready to use in the bathroom? Well, for its smell! Usually, the lacquer has a very pleasant scent, which lingers for a long time. And it takes very little to get the desired results.
So, by spraying just a little hairspray immediately after having used and flushed the toilet, we can avoid potential embarrassment. And even expired hairspray can be used for this purpose - saving on us having to throw it away!
Another way to perfume the toilet is to pour a capfull of shampoo into the bowl before flushing.
Be prudent with your use of hairspray around the toilet, however. Its stickyness can create residue which encourages the appearance of hard-to-remove stains!
