Clean and fragrant toilet brush: a drop of shampoo will work wonders
Proper toilet cleaning requires us to use the toilet brush practically every day, to maintain an adequate level of hygiene. But who cleans the toilet brush itself, or rather, how? There are several methods to get this "unpleasant" chore done in the fastest and most efficient way possible, and some even have the ability to leave the bathroom smelling nice. This is what happens, for example, if we use just a few drops of shampoo.
And this is also a great way to use expired shampoo orto use up samples that we have been given whilst at the shops.

Considering that shampoo - like any other personal hygiene product - has an expiry date, it can sometimes happen that we have expired products on our hands. Or we may have some samples on hand that we got given for free at the shops (or picked up in a hotel room).
And since shampoo is not exactly cheap, it's good practice to use expired product for other purposes. Shampoo cleans by degreasing, and it leaves a nice scent: for this reason, some people use it to clean the toilet brush. A few drops are sufficient and are put directly on the bristles of the toilet brush when it is in its holder. But don't use too much as this will create foam.
Obviously, this does not exempt us from ever having to thoroughly clean the toilet brush (and its holder). To do this, use very hot water and sanitizing products, such as something that contains hydrogen peroxide, activated oxygen, or bleach. Another good habit is to leave a drop of bleach in the bottom of the holder, to prevent bacteria from proliferating.
