Taking a shower is a daily habit for many, but it could also become an even more pleasant ritual. Being in the shower is very relaxing - especially if there is also a pleasant scent. Certainly, the soaps we use contribute to this, but there are other ways to enhance the scent in our showers.

And all we need is a simple, cheap clothes peg. Read on to find out more:

In the bathroom, it's nice for there always to be a clean smell. But when we take a shower, this scent can be overpowered by our soaps, shampoos and similar.

Offsetting this, some like to place sprigs of dried aromatic herbs - such as lavender, mint or even eucalyptus sprigs - near the shower (or shower head) so that the steam releases their natural, truly intoxicating scent. But it's not so easy to find whole sprigs of these herbs, let alone dry them out for use. However, you can take advantage of a much simpler and decidedly cheaper tip to turn your bathroom into a spa.

And this is where the pegs come into play: they must be wooden ones, not plastic. In addition, you will need a bottle of an essential oil of your choice: lavender is relaxing, citrus fruits are energizing, but you can choose whatever one you prefer. Simply pour a drop or two onto the wood of the peg and then secure the peg to the edge of the shower head. The hot steam produced by the shower will release the perfume in a delicate but effective way.
