It's hard to find someone who loves ironing clothes. And skilled or not, it's still a pretty boring chore to do. So, any way to reduce the amount of garments to be ironed would be greatly appreciated by most of us.

A useful tip to do this hinges on a product that often comes to the rescue for many household chores. And then there are a series of tips that can be done when dealing with the laundry. Read on to find out more:

The versitile product we are talking about is white vinegar. There are many people who use vinegar in their laundry: it can be added to the wash (via the dispenser or into the drum directly). Half a glass, in fact, helps fabrics become softer, and relaxs the fibers, meaning that the clothes will have fewer creases. Many people use vinegar especially on household linens, such as sheets or curtains, which are difficult to iron. However, it is advisable to pay close attention to the type of fabrics that need to be washed: not all (especially some synthetics) should not come into contact with vinegar very often or at all.

White vinegar can also be used after washing, by preparing a spray mix to be sprayed on some fabrics. All you need is one part of vinegar and three parts water, sprayed onto the fabrics and then air dried - perhaps spreading them out to avoid as many creases as much as possible.

Other useful tip to avoid needing the iron includes the use of the dryer, but with the addition of ice! In fact, if you insert a few ice cubes before the end of a cycle at high temperature, it will create steam which will eliminate most of the creases in the fabrics! You can do the same by using a hairdryer, and by placing the clothes on a flat surface and passing over them with jet of hot air.

Even the steam from the shower can help when you're in a rush. Carefully hang up any clothes that are a little creased, and keep them in the bathroom when you take a shower. Keep windows and door closed, and the hot steam will help you "iron" your clothes.

Another tip to try is using a slightly damp towel: place it on the creased garments, then press it down firmly to make the creases disappear. Then, you just need to hang the garment up carefully and let it dry naturally (or you can use a hair dryer)

What's your secret to avoiding ironing?
