10 ways to clean using dishwasher tablets
We are used to using a specific product for every specific part of the house and for every type of object we need to clean. There are, however, some products that can be used as cleaners, even if this was not the original intention.
Dishwasher tablets are one of these products. Using them for household chores other than in the dishwasher, can be a great idea and gives great results too.
Check out how these tablets can be used below:
If you have very tarnished cutlery that is difficult to clean, try using dishwasher tablets. Dissolve one in a container of just-boiled water. Then, immerse the tarnished cutlery in the water and allow to lsoak for an hour or so. Afterwards, take the cutlery out, rinse of and dry. Your cutlerly should be almost as good as new again.
To remove stubborn stains from a garment - especially if light in color - immerse the garment in a bowl full of water after having dissolved a dishwasher tablet into it. Leave the garment to soak for a few minutes and then put it in the washing machine on a regular wash. The stains will disappear completely, without leaving any kind of trace.
To make the oven glass sparkle again, pour hot water into a bowl and moisten a dishwasher tablet on one side. With the moistened side, rub the areas to be cleaned in order to remove the dirt. Next, take a dish sponge and moisten it as well. Pass it on over the surfaces where you rubbed the tablet to remove all dirt residue. The glass will gleam again in no time!
Even for blocked drains, dishwasher tablets can save the day. Place one in the drain and pour hot water over it. When the tablet has dissolved completely, turn on the hot water again and your drain should be unblocked.
To remove stubborn dirt from a pot or saucepan, fill it with water, put it on the stove and bring it to the boil. When boiling, dissolve a tablet in the water and leave it to act for a few minutes. Once the water has been tipped out, you have a gleamingly-clean pot or saucepan.
