Every time we buy an accessory because we have a specific need for it at home, we never think about how many other uses we could get from it. But when we go browsing in furniture stores - such as the giant Swedish IKEA retailer - we can really let our imaginations run wild and come up with alternative uses for a host of items. And when we can't think of one, we can certainly find ideas online.

For example, a simple kitchen chopping board can become the computer stand or useful workstation. Together with Medina Grillo, check out three fantastic ideas to transform the STOLTHET bamboo chopping board into sensational accessories.

All you have to do is place the raised board on a coffee table in the living room, in the kitchen, or wherever it is needed, to transform it into a stand for laptops or tablets. In this way, you can work more comfortably in areas where, previously, you may not have been able to.

In the kitchen, this chopping board basically becomes a useful raised/extra shelf: it can help you to tidy up, and serves as an attractive decoration. And you could also use it to make more room in kitchen units or in the pantry.

And if you simply turn it over, it can serve as a bookend (or should we say, bookholder?) to be used on shelves or even the nightstand in the bedroom. Check out the video below:

This is a cheap purchase that could revolutionize many corners of your home: it is really worth considering. And you could even paint it to match your decor and your specific tastes!
