Lego is amongst the most popular of toys that our children play with (and some adults too!) and there are few homes that do not have these famous building blocks laying around somewhere. Unfortunately, after playing with Lego, most children simply leave the the various bits and pieces scattered chaotically on the floor.

There are many solutions to keep mountains of Lego in order: from containers to shelves, there are many remedies we can use. And what if we could have a table that solves the problem?: a table where the children can play and which they can use to store all their Lego pieces? This can be done and is easily achievable!

The constuction is very simple:

  • Start by assembling the LACK table and placing it on top of its box to avoid dirtying the floor while you work.
  • Then take the TROFAST box and place it on the table top facing upwards, drawing the outlines on the table with a pencil.
  • With the drill, make holes in the 4 corners of the perimeter drawn on the table and cut out a rectangle with the jigsaw.
  • You will now have the hole on the surface of the table to insert the TROFAST box.
  • Now take the SUNNERSTA storage system and mount it on the short side of the table.
  • With double-sided tape, attach a Lego game base to the surface of the table.

Your game table is now ready to host your children's Lego bricks! The box and the lateral storage system will allow you to always have the bricks in order and handy, while the table top can be used for the games! You check out the full tutorial in the video below.

Have fun!
