Try sprinkling your broom with rock salt and, after leaving it exposed to the sun for an hour, immerse it in a solution of hot water and salt for about 15 minutes; then let it dry in the sun. In this way, your broom will be perfectly clean and sanitized thanks to the combined action of the salt and the sun's rays and its bristles will not only be intact, but will also be harder and more robust.

By adding bicarbonate or white vinegar to the water and salt solution, you can also use it to thoroughly wash and clean the floors. Salt is a sanitizing product and thanks to its crystalline consistency, it helps to remove dirt more effectively. Combining it with the cleaning power of baking soda and vinegar will give you the best possible results.
