There are special buckets on the market for washing the floor, with two compartments and systems to help us to wring out the mop. But this doesn't mean that we should throw away our old buckets. Indeed, they can come in very useful.

For example, if you have to wash a small portion of the floor, and you don't need a full bucket of water, you can insert a smaller bucket inside the bigger one. In this way, you fill the larger bucket with soapy water, while the smaller one can be used for the dirty water!

Windows, mirrors in the bathroom and even the glass of the oven or microwave doors: all of these get dirty, and we usually wash them with detergents that have an alcoholic component. But have you ever tried the famous shaving foam remedy? You just spread some foam over the glass, wipe it off with a cloth and continue to polish everything with a dry cloth. Your glass surfaces will sparkle!

Anyone who has dogs and cats knows that a vacuum cleaner is essential to keep the house in top condition. But when you're in a hurry, use rubber tools: a broom with rubber bristles is fantastic on carpets and rugs, as are squeegees on sofas and armchairs. And on the latter (including car seats), latex gloves are also excellent at removing the bulk of any pet hair and fur!

Woolen gloves are very useful for dusting objects that are difficult to reach with dusters; and did you know what the best way is to arrange cutlery in drawers? Find out more in our video below.
