8 ingenious ways to use wooden pegs at home

Clothes pegs are indispensable when we want to hang up clothes on the clothesline: they stop our clothes from flying away in a strong wind, for example. Wooden pegs, are also very nice to look at, and they also have an additional value: they are ideal as resource for doing creative arts and crafts projects.
In fact, there are multiple DIY projects we can do using wooden pegs. Check out the ideas below:
- For earphones: how often do earphone wires get tangled in your purse or backpack? Always carry a peg with you (perhaps even decorated or painted!) and you'll avoid this problem.
- As labels: a permanent marker is all you need. Write the information (like someone's name, for example) on the peg and there will be no more confusing identical towels, toothbrushes and other identical objects that we use communally at home.

- A practical trivet (pot stand): disassemble the pegs, and then glue them into a radial pattern (circle). You will create a wooden disc that works perfectly as a trivet.
- To hang up scarves: glue pegs to a wooden hanger and you can hang up multiple scarves on one hanger.
- For glasses in the car: using a high-quality, double-sided piece of tape (usually black), you can secure a peg to the roof to act as a sunglasses holder, for example. And if you need to, you can easily remove it!
- An original napkin holder: again, disassemble the pegs first, and then glue them to create the three sides of a unique napkin holder.
- To store leftover yarn: neatly order your ribbons and leftover pieces of yarn/wool threads. Use pegs for this, just like you would for your earphones (see above).
- As hooks under the sink: organize cloths, gloves and everything you need to under the sink. You will find this very useful.
It only takes a moment to create each of these items, and you can see how to do it in detail in the video below.
It's worth having a few pegs around the house, don't you think?
