Stepping into a clean house is the best welcome you can have when you come home. It's not always easy to keep all the rooms tidy and clean, especially when you work. A useful tip to do this, is to divide the cleaning into many small daily tasks that will take only a few minutes.

Check out below some small suggestions and tips to keep your home in perfect shape:

One way to speed up cleaning is to use just one cleaner to clean all surfaces in the house. You can make a good multipurpose cleaner by mixing mouthwash, toothpaste, baking soda and water. Put this mix into a bottle with a dispenser nozzle and use it to clean the stove, the sink, pots and pans in the kitchen, and also the bathroom.

A roll dispenser is a great help. Using a broken coat hanger, thread the paper towel roll onto the horizontal rod and hang it up where it is most convenient: above the sink or near the work surface is best. And you can move it when you need to!

We all know how difficult it is to clean wooden chopping boards effectively; being an absorbent material, wood is easily dirtied, retaining water and food resideu (leading to growth of mold). One method to clean and sanitize a chopping board thoroughly is to sprinkle it with baking soda, then scrub it with half a lemon. The chemical reaction will help remove dirt and mold thoroughly. Dry off with a clean microfiber cloth and your chopping board will be as good as new.

Dusting is one of the most annoying tasks of all cleaning chores - mainly because it is time-consuming and must be done frequently. A simple tip to speed up the dusting of the upper surfaces of tall furniture, is to cover them with a sheet of paper. The dust will settle on the sheets and you just need to replace these to keep the furniture tops dust-free.
