Learn the technique for folding up a duvet so it doesn't take up too much storage space
Duvets (and duvet covers) keep us nice and toasty and warm in bed during the winter months. And, like anything used often, duvets get dirty and need to be washed, then put back in storage.
So whether the time has come for the change of season, or just to replace one cover with another, we are faced with the problem of how to store these bulky items. But with the right technique, we can solve this problem. Read on to find out more:

As shown to us in a video on Instagram from the sweet.moments.af account, there is a way to fold the duvet so that it becomes a compact square which will not take up too much storage room:
- Open the duvet to its full extent on the bed;
- Stand on one side of the bed and take the end facing you, folding it one third towards the center;
- Now take the other side and do the same;
- Now fold the duvet from one side to the other side;
- Fold the entire bundle towards the center, twice, to create a square;
- Now take advantage of the first fold you created, which forms a sort of pocket, and turn it inside out so that it ends up holding the rest of the folded duvet.
This may seem complicated and unclear, but you just need to watch the video below to see how easy it is:
