Easy and effective home tips worth trying
Every day at home we have to face small challenges, which make us wonder if there is a quick and simple solution to dealing with them. Seemingly trivial things, like a pair of jeans that won't dry quickly enough or electric cables that inevitably get tangled, can get on our nerves.
Yet there are many tips that can help us out with these irritations. Maybe you already know some of them, maybe not. Check out the list below:
1. The garbage can
If you're tired of having to reseat the garbage bag every time you throw something into it, we have the solution for you. Place an adhesive hook on the outside of the garbage can, just below the opening, and use it to secure the bag's string (or handle, if you reuse grocery bags). You will find it won't drop into the can anymore.
2. Electrical cables
In the living room or study, the electrical cables are usually always tangled up: nowadays, there are many electronic devices that we use for leisure or work and inevitably the accumulation of cables leads to tangles forming. The solution is much simpler than it seems. Take the cables and line them up neatly on your desk; then secure them with a cable tie. Then, take some smaller cable ties and use them as separators for the individual cables. A quick, easy, effective solution!
3. Dry jeans in seconds
If you are in a hurry to put on a pair of jeans but you have recently washed them and they are not yet dry, you can speed up the process in a few simple steps. Fasten some pegs to the waist and on the bottom of the legs, insert a hair dryer into the waist and turn it on at maximum speed and heat. Your jeans will be dry in seconds, ready to wear!
4. Perfect tortillas
To get perfect tortillas, which do not break when folded and which will hold the fillings, try heating them in the oven by hanging them on the grill. The result will be mind-blowing.
