Try this simple tip to roll up a belt for storing away
There are some outfits that we couldn't think of wearing without adding a belt: belts are accessories that can enrich a simple outfit and make it look much more elegant; they also allow one to continue wearing trousers, dresses and skirts that might be a bit baggy. Both men and women usually have a collection of belts in their closets, but storing them properly is not always that simple.
Come to think of it, unless we have dividers in the drawers for our belts, they often end up just being tossed all over the place. However, there is a handy trick to learn when it comes to rolling up your belts for storing or travel!

On their Instagram account showing household tips and tricks, JIMMY & LAURA also show us how to roll up a belt into a "wheel":
- Thread the end of the belt through the buckle, as if you were closing it;
- Instead of putting the buckle into one of the holes, keep sliding the whole belt through the buckle, until it can't be done anymore;
- At this point, begin to roll up the belt on itself, starting from the end, just like you usually do when you want to roll it up.
- You will end up with a belt "wheel" that you can store much more easily.
Rolled up like this, the belt will not open in a drawer or inside a suitcase. To see this technique demonstrated, check out this video.
Once rolled up, belts can also be stored in special round transparent containers! There are also DIY solutions, however, to hang up belts without rolling them up first: for example, there are those who use rails, hooks and wooden hangers to do this.
