Sometimes, we run out of ideas for how to spend time with our children, but all we need is a little inspiration. Often, in fact, at home we have everything we need for some wonderful little craft projects. In fact, with just some paper cups (unused ones, of course :D), all you need to do is find some scissors, felt-tip pens (or better still, watercolored paints) and glue. Now you have everything you need to make some beautiful paper flowers.

Below you will find some fun projects you can do with the kids.

A beautiful daisy: all you need is scissors, a wooden ice cream stick, glue and a little yellow paint. Once you've made the cuts on the sides to get to petals (which will remain attached to the base), just need to paint the center yellow and glue the stick to the back. Your daisy is ready.

If, on the other hand, you mounted the flowers on straws or sticks, your sunflowers will be taller! And you could also cut leaves out of some paper or cardboard. Then it's just a matter of painting them as you see fit, and putting everything inside another paper cup that will serve as a vase.

Your flower might even have all the colors of the rainbow on its petals, like this one. Click on the link below the photo to see how it's done.

And why not create colorful flowers with a multi-layered corolla of petals? They will look wonderful. In fact, you can give each round of petals whatever shape and color you want: the important thing is to make sure that, by overlapping them, you can see them all to some extent. So start with the biggest ones and gradually add the smallest petals. As a pistil, you could use a colored button!

The basic technique is always the same, but the petals can be different every time. For example, the base of the paper cup, which is the center of the flower, could hold a candle. In this way, a simple paper cup become a lotus flower latern.

There's infinite number of ways to combine colors and petal types. These creations could even become pictures to hang on the walsl. You could also personalize them by writing someone's name in the center or on the petals... In short, let your imagination run wild and you'll be amazed at what you and the kids can create!
