8 useful accessories to keep your kitchen neat and orderly
Whether you spend a lot of time in the kitchen preparing delicacies almost every day or not, the kitchen is a place where disorder seems to be able to generate itself almost as if by magic. Preventing this happening is always a challenge.
There are a thousand tips to do this and many depend on the use and characteristics of the kitchen (available space, for example). To this end, there is a range of universal accessories available that can come in handy for everyone. Here are eight that you might want to consider getting:
Rotating trays (Lazy Susans): these come in many sizes and materials - and there are even those with two levels and detachable parts. They were invented to serve dishes comfortably from the center of a large table but now they are used more often in pantries and fridges.
Spices: various spice racks can also be used for these, but if you have a drawer that is free, then place your spices in this. To keep them in order and easily accessible, there are drawers with grooves inside into which you can place your spice bottles.
Transparent, hermetically sealed containers for food: cereals, flours, legumes, pasta... All of these - if kept in their original packaging - take up much more space than when poured into a special container. Invest in durable containers with a good, airtight seal and you can use them almost anywhere.
Containers for the fridge or pantry with handles: when you need to take something from the top shelf of the pantry or fthe fridge, having a container with a handle makes everything easier and reduces the risk of knocking over other objects and containers.
