5 habits to adopt to keep your home neat, clean and tidy
No one likes to spend all their time cleaning the house, but if you neglect doing it for a long time, it can be a real mission when you eventually do (in addition to potentially become a health hazard). It is therefore necessary to find your own routine and to determine how much time to spend on individual chores.
In fact, it is useful to adopt a series of daily habits to execute household chores on a rolling, regular basis. Let's see what some of these habits are:
Cleaning products basket
A dedicated cleaning products container/basket is very useful. If you have one equipped with the various cleaning products and accessories you need, you can take it from room to room, without having to search for the right product for the next chore.
Having all your cleaning products and tools in a one basket will be a great simplifier for your household cleaning chores!
5 minutes a day
If you know that there are areas of the house that get messier than others, or are more prone to dust, make sure you always find five minutes a day in which to tidy and/or dust these areas. You can do this while waiting for food to finish cooking or the kettle to boil, for example. And at the end of the week, there will be much less to do to restore order and cleanliness in your home!
Always impeccable sinks
In the kitchen, as in the bathroom, the sink is used every day, but we don't always remember to wipe it down with a cloth or a sponge to remove any traces of dirt, soap and limescale. If, on the other hand, you get into the habit of doing it after each use - or perhaps at the end of each day - then you won't have to deal with more serious dirt and limescale encrustations!
Baskets and boxes
This advice cannot be repeated enough: even in closed wardrobes, containers that divide all the objects that we place in and on furniture units are a godsend. Depending on the needs and personal taste, baskets of various materials can be chosen. But in the end, everything can be divided into two large groups: 1) those that let the content be seen (transparent container); and 2) those that hide the contents and require labels.
