How does water become ice? This is a question that every parent will, sooner or later, will find themselves having to answer. One can try to explain to the kids that the cold slows down the movement of water molecules and fixes their bonds in an ice lattice. But this explanation will probably end up boring the kids and make them lose interest. The best way to give a comprehensive and engaging answer to this question is to make a demonstration. There are many ways in which children can experience the freezing process firsthand; for example, we can leave a glass of water outside overnight; or we can freeze some water in the fridge's freezer over the course of a few hours.

But if your children are very impatient and can't even wait that long, there is a way to make instant ice: let's find out how by watching a video from @mrs.b.tv.

There are several ways to create instant ice: with a little effort and a bit of patience, it is possible to do this and it will surely impress the kids. TikTokker, @mrs.b.tv, shows us how to do this.

To carry out this very experiment, you need to fill a bottle with water and leave it to cool for two hours in the freezer. After two hours, take an ice cube and place it in a bowl or on a plate. Pour the water from the bottle over it and you will see that the cube will slowly start to grow. This phenomenon is possible because, after two hours in the freezer, the water is close to freezing and contact with the ice cube allows it to create large crystals.

Simple and fun, right? We're sure your kids will gasp with surprise and feel a bit like Elsa from Frozen! Prepare water and ice cubes then, watcy the @mrs.b.tv video and enjoy!
