Your curly hair will look fabulous after a warm, castor oil treatment
Curly hair has a reputation for being unmanageable, but it has a charm all of its own. Curls are difficult to style and always have a tendency to become frizzy - so much so that natural curls are often straightened by many. In recent years this trend seems to have reversed and many women are now showing off their wonderful, naturally curly, healthy-looking, well-groomed locks.
But how do you take care of your curly hair? There are many mistakes to avoid and useful tips to follow: these start from the choice of cleansing products (which must be curl-specific), to using the right washing and drying temperatures, and to the right time to comb your locks. Today, we reveal a treatment that will help you protect your curls and fight off frizzing.
It is now very easy to find suggestions for our well-being on social networks and curly hair management is no exception; among the experts on the subject is @faithchappelle, who shares valuable tips about curly hair. In a video, she explains how to carry out a treatment to restore your curls after having had them straightened.
Get some castor oil and put it in a dispenser bottle, like the one you use for hair dye. Heat the oil inside the bottle in a saucepan full of hot water and then spread the oil all over your hair, taking care to distribute it properly and using a comb to remove any knots.
Leave the oil on for an hour, covered with a shower cap (or equivalent). Once an hour has passed, proceed to washing your hair using the specific curly hair products. Once done brush your hair and only then proceed to drying it with a hairdryer. Your curls will be perfect again! Watch the video to see the steps in detail and discover the most suitable products for your hair.
You'll look your best with a head of your natural, beautiful, curly hair, don't you agree?
