Tea is the beverage most drunk in the world after water; there are so many to satisfy every palate and tea is the first hot drink you probably think of when looking to unwind. Whether you are a regular or occasional tea consumer, you will certainly have had some reason to prepare a cup. But have you ever paused to think about the possible alternative uses of used tea bags?
Tea has many properties that we can take advantage of even after drinking it - advantages for ourselves, but also for our plants and home. Let's find out together the alternative uses for used tea bags:
1. Combat odors in the house and in the refrigerator

By placing used tea bags on the radiators you will get an excellent solution for bad odors and you can save on the purchase of commercial deodorants and sanitizers. In fact, used tea bags will absorb bad smells and sanitize the air at no cost. The same goes for the refrigerator, shoe cupboard or pantry: put a used tea bag inside the area to absorb odors and your closed spaces will no longer need commercial deodorizers.
