It often happens that horrible red circles form in the bathroom at the base of the taps or around the drains of sinks, showers and bidets. It is the so-called pink mold or limescale encrustations that trap dirt that turns brown or red.

There are simple and effective remedies to counteract this: remedies that degrease, dislodge and eliminate dirt, mold, bacteria and limescale, in a very short time and with very little effort. Some of them involve the use of natural products or those that you commonly have at home. We illustrate one method in particular below:

This method was shown in a video by TikTokker, @vekalife24 - an excellent and very popular home cleaning expert. In the video, it is described how to make, in a few steps, a product that, if rubbed on the dirt, is able to remove it perfectly. We briefly describe the procedure below:

  • Pour baking soda, liquid dish detergent and white vinegar into a bowl.
  • Mix vigorously, with a whisk, to form a thick and lump-free paste, which you will use to remove the dirt.
  • Paste onto the parts to be treated and spread around with an old toothbrush for tight spaces. For larger areas, use a sponge.
  • Leave the paste on for the necessary amount of time and then rinse off with plenty of hot water.

As we have already said, the compound eliminates the reddish circles on the sanitary ware, but it is also able to clean other surfaces (such as the glass in the shower and all the corners of the bathroom where this type is dirt accumulates). With the ingredients mentioned and a little elbow grease, everything will be shiny and sanitized in no time. If you want to understand more clearly how this works, watch the video posted on @vekalife24's account.
