3 secrets to give your bedroom a more refined look
Our home environments certainly require care, order and cleanliness and nothing can be left to chance. But there are small strategies and clever ideas that can speed up some operations and make our lives easier.
Sometimes tiny, apparently insignificant steps, are enough to improve an environment, making it more orderly, refined and even luxurious effortlessly. And this can be done, for example, in a bedroom.
Showcasing this is TikTokker Chantel Mila. She is famous for posting cleaning, styling, and home organization content on her @mama_mila_ account. The creator shows, in a very interesting video, some simple but ingenious strategies to give a bedroom a refined look. She gives us 3 tips and we have summarize them briefly below:
1. To make the folds of the sheets adhere to the mattress, moisten them by spraying them with water with a spray bottle, when they are placed on the mattress. The water will dry out, giving a perfect crease-free shape to the sheet and there will be no need to use an iron.
2. To hide any type of electric wire or cable, you can place adhesive hooks on the inside of furniture units l(ike those used to hang up towels and tea towels). Strategically placed in hidden positions, they will hold the cables without getting them tangled (and keeping them out of sight).
3. Thoroughly clean each floor to remove dirt and dust and, when knick-knacks and furnishing accessories need to be put back, try to follow the rule of thirds. For those unfamiliar with this, it is a rule used in photography to establish proper framing. Ideally, a space is divided by three imaginary vertical and three horizontal lines which, in turn, create three vertical and horizontal sections. This makes it easier to position objects in a more orderly and proportionate way.
In short, with a few simple steps, you could revolutionize the look of your bedroom for the better. If you are curious and you want to see these tips demonstrated, you can watch the aforementioned video, directly on Chantel Mila's account.
