Make your own Halloween decorations by recycling toilet paper rolls, and more

The holiday has its roots in ancient folklore, and the symbols that still remain today are traces of a fascinating history. Every year, in the heart of autumn, many people all over the world celebrate Halloween.
To do this with creativity, you can also decorate your home with Halloween-themed decorations, and you don't necessarily have to spend a fortune to do so: recycling ideas that use common objects such as cardboard tubes of toilet paper can suffice. Not to mention empty milk cartons or egg cartons!
Bats are black, yes, but it's much more fun to make them colored, and with toilet rolls it only takes a moment.
Take a cardboard cylinder - which may already be white (or paint it) - then glue strips of toilet paper on the bottom and draw eyes and mouth on it: once you add a thread to hang it up, you will have a ghost that flys around at every gust of wind!
In a similar way, you can also use a simple paper cup.
If, on the other hand, you want to have a colorful monsters, you only need to equip yourself with paint, adhesive eyes (but you can also draw them on) and paper hair (or any other decoration you want to add).
However, you could get equally adorable results by using only the leftover balls of wool or cotton found at home.
Online, you can find a thousand ideas from which to take inspiration from to transform cardboard cylinders into various Halloween characters - from vampires to witches. Once they are made, you could use them to decorate a wall.
And how about turning milk cartons into haunted houses?
You can really go crazy!
Milk cartons can also be used to create DIY lanterns. And if you choose to decorate them with spooky designs, they will be perfect for Halloween.
Considering that it is a festivity that is enjoyed mostly at night, lights are a fundamental component: with paper cups and a string of LED lights, you can work wonders!
Did you ever imagine that an egg carton could become the evil Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz?
