12 frighteningly creative Halloween projects to do using paper and cardboard
Of all the holidays, Halloween is the one in which the most decorations are used. It is a short holiday in which it becomes fun to fill the house with monsters which are usually considered to be scary. We laugh at the spooky guises, and enjoy the Halloween parties.
So, if we want to celebrate with decorations that characterize the Halloween holiday, we can fill our home with many DIY creations using paper and cardboard. Even the little ones can participate in projects like those listed below:
From egg cartons, you can make bats - just a little paint and stick-on eyes are needed. Leaves, like those from maples, if painted white, become spooky ghosts!
Another idea for putting up bats, hanging upside down, is by gluing paper (cardboard, or foam rubber) wings and ears to champagne/wine corks.
With sheets of paper you can create ghosts that dance in the air, with a super-spooky spiral movement.
Two or three circles of orange cardboard, a stapler and some green paper are all you need to create stylized pumpkins to hang up wherever you want.
If, on the other hand, you have some tissue paper laying around, you just need to attach them to a ball (wooden ones, or ping pong ball) to create spooky ghosts.
And you could combine a string of ghosts with bats.
All the spooky, black shapes you have cut out of cardboard are impressive when hung from a wall-mounted branch.
And what about witches broomsticks? They could even carry messages for the kids!
A cloud of bats passing over the wall: just cut out a bunch of them from black cardboard.
Ghosts peeping into/out of the windows will scare your kids and guests!
A black balloon and multiple ribbons: a huge spider will reign in your home clinging from the ceiling.
And for those who want to try their hand at something more challenging, there are many lantern ideas that look truly magical!
Happy Halloween!
