The whole house clean and tidy in a few hours: useful steps to remember
As great as it is to have the house always in perfect condition, being able to clean and tidy up satisfactorily in less time than usual is a prospect that appeals to almost everyone. In fact, if the key to avoiding spending hours and hours washing, dusting and tidying is not to postpone the various chores for too long and indeed, even better to do something every day, the day arrives in which you have to roll up your sleeves and take care systematically of the whole house.
And why not do it in a few hours instead of losing a whole day and then collapsing with fatigue? Nobody wants to burn themselves out on the day off like that. If you haven't yet developed the most efficient routine for you, here are some helpful tips to help you find your rhythm.
- One matter at a time: instead of one room at a time, it may be more useful to divide the time according to the chores. Dusting the whole house, washing all glass and mirrors, sweeping or vacuuming, collecting dirty clothes in every room and so on.
- The written list: at the base of every form of organization (whether it is to clean the house or to work and study) there is always a well-planned and written action plan. Whether your preferred method of jotting down ideas is pen and paper or an electronic device, nothing changes. It will help you stay focused and move forward wisely. And ticking items off the lists is always rewarding.
Mirrors and glass
You will certainly have your favorite product and method, but remember that you could help yourself with cloths mounted on sticks (even some mops for washing or dusting on the ground!) To reach higher surfaces without effort. Wash them all after dusting thoroughly.
Surfaces
Especially in the bathroom and kitchen there is particular attention to be paid to worktops and those of sanitary ware. With a view to moving from top to bottom, therefore, they must be cleaned before getting to take care of the floor.
Do not forget, however, also wall units, and the interior of furniture and appliances.
Floors
Here there are different schools of thought: there are those who prefer to vacuum first and then wash, and those who do the opposite. A painstaking cleaning is that in which the bulk is removed with a broom or vacuum cleaner, then washed, let it dry and again go very quickly with the vacuum cleaner. But it certainly makes you waste more time.
