Are you afraid of ruining your sandals? A tutorial teaches you how to clean them without doing any damage
Shoes are among the most used and beloved objects we own. They accompany us everywhere, protecting our feet from all kinds of harm, and at the same time, they allow us to express our personality. Choosing the right shoes is a fundamental process - both because they need to be comfortable and suitable for the use we will make of them, but also for an aesthetic point of view. We must be proud to show off our footwear !
But what can we do when our shoes get dirty? It is not always possible to put them in the washing machine. Often, in fact, a washing machine will ruin our shoes. A video tutorial teaches us how to clean Birkenstock sandals perfectly.
Birkenstock sandals are very delicate and cannot be washed with water or in the washing machine, as this will damage them. How can they be cleaned then? We often end up giving up, finding ourselves forced to throw them away prematurely because they are too dirty to be worn. We now have the solution! A videotutorial by @lacasadimattia on TikTok explains how to do it.
You will need a dry stain remover, a stiff laundry brush and a slightly damp cloth.
First, you need to prepare the sandals.
1. Spray on the stain remover
When your sandals are ready to be cleaned, spray the entire surface the dry stain remover. Let it dry for a few minutes.
2. Brushing
Once dried, remove the dirt by scrubbing well with the stiff laundry brush and remove the excess dirt by beating the sandals (but not too roughly).
3. Finish off with a damp cloth
At this point you can proceed with the final cleaning phase. With a slightly damp cloth, rub the shoes over to remove the last residue of dirt and dust and let them air dry.
Your sandals will now be clean and without any damage! If necessary, you can repeat the operation several times, in order to obtain a better result. To see the entire tutorial and follow it step-by-step, watch the video on TikTok.
This is a practical and quick method for all shoes that we can not wash in the washing machine. Do you use any other methods?
