There are often everyday annoyances and small hitches for which we would like practical solutions to simplify our lives. But often, we cannot find them. Then there are tips which we sometimes discover, by chance, that provides the perfect solution.

These are brilliant ideas for everyday use that can save time, space and work, or allow us to use some objects instead of others. To better understand what we are talking about, take a look at the incredible examples listed for you below!

Using an oven grill to give the iconic folded shape to the tortillas is an unusual but very useful idea - especially if you have guests and a kitchen that is not well-equipped.

Do you have to set up a table for a party or some another event and are you missing backsplashes? Don't worry, just combine regular plates with glasses (preferably goblets), to get magnificent ones.

To prevent insects from falling into your drinks - perhaps runining an aperitif outdoors - just put holes in paper moulds for sweets and cupcakes (and which have more or less the same diameter as the glasses). Insert a straw and cover the drinks with these makeshift lids. They will be very original and will provide protection.

The same cupcake moulds can also be used as a base for popsicles and ice creams, to avoid drips going everywhere. Especially for children, this is a really great solution.

And how many times do you forget which power cords corresponds to which appliance? Have you ever thought about labeling them?

To recognize similar-looking keys in a bunch, paint them with colored enamels (it's a great way to recycle the old nail polishes!). You will recognize them immediately, and you will have a really chic set of keys.

To keep the earrings paired, especially when traveling, you can use buttons to slip them into.

And if the toilet roll holder breaks, any object with the right shape can take its place. A long-necked toy dinosaur, for example, can be an original substitute.

Finally, what about when the sponge does not get into cracks that have to be cleaned? Just cut it to match the protruding parts it will clean every crack properly.

Did you find these ideas useful? Which of them would you now put into practice?
