Woman transforms a nightmarish bathroom in just a few steps - a feat that seemed impossible
Cleaning the bathroom thoroughly scares everyone, but if the bathroom is in our house, we know our regular cleaning will make a less-frequent, deep cleaning a much easier chore. But what happens if we enter a house and discover a bathroom from hell, worse than any nightmare? Many of us would run away before even thinking of cleaning it.
This is not the case with this TikTokker, who shows us in a video, how she managed to clean and sanitize a bathroom that would have scared even Shrek!
Aurikatariina has become famous on social networks and is known as the "Queen of Cleaning". And we must say that this title is well deserved given the video in which she shows us how to transform a nightmarish bathroom in just a few steps. Filthy, clogged sink, dirty bathroom fixtures, dirty tiles (defaced with permanent marker), sticky floors. In short, a real hygiene disaster!
But this filth not stop the Queen of Cleaning, who, with pink rubber gloves on her hands, stepped in to clean this horror.
First she took care of the sink, emptying it of the objects cluttering it and unblocking it. In the video, the woman uses a commercial drain unblocker (but if you want a homemade alternative you will guidance in the video's comments. These are similar to those we often recommend: baking soda and heated vinegar or, if vinegar bothers you, baking soda and coarse salt with very hot water).
Then Aurikatariina slowly moves on to clean the bathroom fixtures: the sink, the tiles, the grouting, the toilet. In the video, the woman uses dishwashing liquid and an oven degreaser to remove the marker scribblings from the tiles and clean the grout, using an abrasive sponge and spatula. However, these products do not sanitize; if you also want to eliminate bacteria, we recommend the use of a sanitizing detergent or bleach for sanitary ware after the initial cleaning.
The result is truly amazing: there seemed to be no hope for that bathroom, and many users thought it was a write-off. "I still do not trust this bathroom," declared one user, citing the possible continued presence of germs and bacteria despite the thorough cleaning. "I would have sold the house," says another user. Others wondered how anyone can let a bathroom get into this state, in the first place.
