Enhance your home's interior with beautiful shades of turquoise

Turquoise, and all the shades in which it comes - from lighter aqua green to the more intense "teal blue" - is one of the most beloved of all colors. It makes one think of the waters of a sun-beaten sea, of relaxing and carefree spaces. And for this reason, it manages to infuse beauty into every environment in which it is used to decorate an interior.

You can be brave and paint one or more walls turquoise, or limit yourself to using just a few turquoise-colored accessories scattered here and there. Turquoise goes perfectly with shades of red or coral pink (which are among those colors most complementary to this color), and it certainly blends very well with white. Be enchanted by the many ideas below to incorporate turquoise into your home's decor:

A splash of joy, but not overwhelming: a turquoise entrance door will be remembered, and is not only for houses by the sea!

A turquoise accent wall is the perfect choice for both a bright study and the wall behind the headboard, or even in the kitchen!

But perhaps the home environment in which this beautiful color is most appropriate, is the bathroom: in fact, it looks great on the tiles.

... even when you just use it on in the shower cubicle. A fresh, clean color ideal for the room where we take care of our bodies.

In environments where neutral colors predominate, a few lively brushstrokes in turquoise become the detail that will bring joy. It could be a coffee table in the living room, for example...

...or the island table in the middle of the kitchen.

Or maybe an armchair or sofa.

Its a great idea to decorate using turquoise-colored accessories too: a turquoise glass chandelier, for example, is a lovely idea.

Try using turquoise ceramics or glass vases (or even dinner services), on display or ready to use for some important occasion.

And then there are carpets or curtains, perhaps even with a shaded effect: they are delicate touches that create an atmosphere of grace.
