11 objects of decidedly questionable design to examine
Original, creative, surprising: we want the items we buy - from fashion accessories to furniture in the home (and even the materials from which our homes are built) - to be like this. It is worth doing some research to find items like this. For each of us, the perfect balance between design innovation and the beauty of the finished object varies, according to individual tastes. But there are times when it is really difficult to appreciate some stylistic choice or to recognize an item's aesthetics, even if you do recognise the effort that went into creating it.
