10 great DIY projects you can do using old cookie/biscuit tins
Tin boxes for storing biscuits (cookie / biscuit tins) are a timeless classic: maybe we don't remember who bought the box, and maybe it is a really ancient hand-me-down, but we don't usually throw biscuit tins away. Often they become storage containers, especially for those who love to sew: they are perfect for keeping everything together: threads, buttons, needles, tape, and everything else you need to have at hand for your sewing projects.
But biscuit tins can also be recycled in much more creative ways - both as neater or nicer-looking storage container, and as real piece of home furnishing. Here are some ideas to try out:
