Recycle tuna cans: many creative suggestions to turn them into beautiful objects
To say that there are no limits to creativity is to state the obvious. Creativity is the only thing we need to have in large quantities to live well on this planet and protect it. With almost anything you can create something different which is more beautiful and more useful - and without the need to create garbage and other waste that pollutes and poisons our Earth. For example, would you ever say that even cans of tuna could be very useful and beautiful objects to look at? The aluminum from which the cans are made, is one of the most polluting and harmful materials in our ecosystem. That's all the more reason to choose to recycle or reuse it.
So, here are some imaginative and simple ideas to create useful and objectively beautiful objects from simple tuna cans.
How about a jewelry box with cans all glued together? Just glue them, according to the number you need, and perhaps around a central rod fixed to a base that acts as a support and allows you to form a spiral.
Painted with the colors you like, they can then become beautiful frames for pictures or photos. Here, too, there is no limit to the possibilities and methods of creation. Indulge yourself by displaying your taste and the style of your home. You will be surprised at what you can do.
Following the need for comfort, you can consider using the tins as separators and organizers inside drawers to keep order.
Decorating the tins and gluing them together to create a pen holder or desk organizer is another great idea.
Cladding cans with clothes pegs and planting sprouts is a "green" project to decorate your home, veranda or garden with "low cost and high yield" planters.
And with the cans it is also possible to create a thousand cute, unique candle holders. It is, perhaps, the idea that seems most obvious and intuitive. But try to make them and you will be amazed at what you can make.
Using a little padding, fabric, felt and colored trimmings, you can make some very original pin cushions.
By hanging tins - painted or decorated as desired - with string from a piece of wood (or driftwood), it is possible to recreate what is called a jewish harp. You will have a wonderful decoration for your garden or veranda.
As for Christmas decorations, even here tuna cans can come in handy. Try recreating the shape of a Christmas tree by putting a candle inside each one or by putting some lights in them. The "wow" factor is guaranteed.
By carving and cutting tuna cans and other tin cans, you can create lanterns and lamps of different shapes and sizes.
And why not use a small tin to make a cute alarm clock?
Now it's your turn: equip yourself with some tuna cans and you can really create wonders!
