Do you need a pot or planter for the garden? You make many types using DIY projects!
There are many plants that we end up growing in pots and planters: they are solutions that allow you to create green corners or even plant-covered walls where there would normally be no space for a garden ora flower bed. And since we can transport them more easily, pot plants also allow us to cultivate those species that need shelter from the cold and bad weather in winter, and we move easily (in their pots) to protected places or indoors.
In short, to add a touch of green and color to your home, plant pots and planters are indispensable in the garden or on the balcony. And if you want to test your creative abilities, you can make many different types or pots using DIY techniques.

Take a plastic pot that has a shape that you like, put a small spacer on the bottom and place it into a larger pot: filling the gap between the two pots with concrete will provide you with an indestructible vase.
You can also use specially built wooden frames, such as molds which can be used to create many identical pots.
For a smaller, more compact planter, hollowed-out wood logs are always lovely. Don't forget to provide drainage holes on their bottom side too!
And if by chance you have lany eft over wooden planks, (from old pallets, for example), you can always create boxes or other types of wooden planters and pot holders. Always remember that it is good to sand the wood properly and, above all, waterproof the wood so that it can last a long time even when it comes into contact regularly with water.
If you like working with wood, you can also create planter boxes to add to a ladder, or even build the support ladder from scratch!
From an old barrel you can make a planter, even with several levels inside.
Other adorable and fun projects are those that involve recycling old pieces of furniture: for example, a drawer resting on the legs of a chair or table. Again, it is always recommended to waterproof everything and do not forget to provide drainage holes.
.. and you can also recycle a complete unit of furniture, especially if it is a chest of drawers.
Drawers by themselves are perfect for becoming wall-mounted planters.
And it is always enchanting when a chair transformed into a planter, generally by cutting a circle in the seat, to be filled with a made-to-measure basket or pot.
Tires are perfect for decorating a garden with a colorful touch.
And have you ever thought that an old cloth bag (but also other similar objects) could become a planter?
