When we look at the worn out tires of a car, or any other vehicle, we would hardly think that they can become something colorful and creative, beautiful to look at and maybe even useful. Yet with a little imagination, the tires of cars, motorcycles and virtually any other wheeled vehicle can be transformed into truly amazing garden furniture.

Vases and planters, decorations to hang up or to use as statues and even comfortable and robust furniture: just find the right idea and a truly humble, waste object can become the highlight of a corner of the garden. Take a look at the ideas below: you might find one that will give a boost of creativity to your garden!

Two identical tires stacked on each other, covered by a wooden board and equipped with a wooden back rest: this is the basis of a unique outdoors armchair.

Even the armrests and the backs of the armchairs can made from the tires: thinner tires, like those of bicycles or motorbikes, can be used for the armrests. And then you can paint everything in the same color to blend and harmonize!

By taking advantage of wooden logs, you could make the tires become the seats of mushroom-shaped stools: the cap of the mushroom should be made by stuffing them with a rain-resistant, outdoor upholstery filler and waxed sheets!

Have you always wanted a wishing well in the garden like those from fairy tales? You can build one with tires all painted in the appropriate manner.

And there are tons of ideas for making planters and raised flower beds with tires - one could look like a giant teapot.

Others can be used to create simple flower pots and low vases - just add some feet: perfect for succulent plants.

And if the tires are wider, they can also accommodate larger plants, such as boxwood pruned into various geometric shapes.

You can hang a tire from a tree branch and fill it with flowers and decorations ... and even add a gnome or two!

Even damaged tires can still be recycled in a useful way: you could roll up the garden hose and put it into one, for example.

Or continue carving the tires to create sculptures for the garden - perhaps white swans, for example.

Or carve a colorful toucan!
