Cardboard boxes used as organizers at home: find out how to best recycle them!

There are many surfaces in the house that are filled with a bunch of small objects, and this clutter can be bothersome and irritating: desks covered with stationery items; crammed work shelves where we try to dedicate ourselves to our creative activities; and also the drawers of the furniture into which we frequently jam all kinds of accessories and tools, including make-up. To keep order in these cases, you can resort to using object holders and dividers - you can create organizers of all types of size and shape and which are suitable for any occasion or need.

Further, these organizers can be made simply by recycling pieces of cardboard from the boxes of, for example, our delivered online purchases. Check out the ideas below:

With cardboard boxes (like shoe boxes, for example), you can create small shelves for items such as nail polish and other small objects, and they are perfect for mounting on a wall. To finish the job, paint or line the cardboard with colored paper.

Cereal boxes: a few cuts with a scissors and a little glue and, hey presto!, you can have useful document holders to use in your home office.

And if you need document folders / files to hang on the wall, you could build one from a flat cardboard box, like those used for pizza.

Shoe boxes are perfect to transform into the drawers of a cardboard chest of drawers: you can go wild designing the handles!

A few pieces of cardboard are all you need to create a sort of grid, suitably decorated on the upper, visible edges: it is nothing more than a simple divider which can be used in the drawers!

For the desk, you can create pen / pencil holders with cardboard (and these are also useful as tool holders, and more) full of useful compartments.

A spacious but compact organizer in which to find room for everything you need to keep handy: very useful for tidying up a desk or emptying out a cluttered drawer.

You can also create an organiser them by slipping dividers into a box and then standing it upright on its side.

And how about a stand to hold your laptop at a comfortable angle, complete with a compartment for storing cables or accessories underneath it?

Instead of having markers littering your desk (or screwdrivers on the countertop) you could keep them tidy using a mini tabletop rack of shelves.

Which idea do you like best?
