Plants in every room of the house: discover how to use them as fascinating display items!

More or less every interior design theory always includes the insertion of some natural element in our rooms, like plants: plants can be of many different varieties, arranged in a more traditional way or integrated with more innovative and unusual methods, but in whatever manner, they make every space more livable, more harmonious and pleasant. Not to mention that they make these areas healthier too.

Therefore, it is nice to imagine being able to place them in several rooms in the home: if the various rooms of the house have the right conditions of light, temperature and humidity, it will be possible to furnish each one with a touch of green, as in the interiors you see below:

The place in the home where we usually see plants thriving is the living room or lounge, and often it is a green corner set up near the windows.

In addition to placing vases and pots on the floor, with their drip trays and supports, you can also surround any piece of furniture with greenery, including bookcases.

If you lack space in the living room and the other rooms in your home, you can consider using baskets hanging from the ceiling - perfect for plants with a drooping foilage (like ivy).

Plants can also become elements with which to decorate the wall above the sofa, perhaps using shelves with a refined style.

These plants are also beautiful with their draped foilage spilling down from shelving, and placed together with books, magazines and various knick-knacks.

You don't always find people willing to have plants in the bedroom, but they are fine to have in this room as well (and can be beneficial for one's health too).

There are plants that are actually recommended for these environments (i.e. the bedroom), as some produce oxygen at night (such as sansevieria) or have a delicate scent that promotes relaxation and helps sleep (such as lavender).

If the corridors or landings of the house are bright enough, even these areas are excellent spaces for plants. Here, they really become the focus, since there is usually little else in these areas that attracts one's attention.

Humidity-loving plants, such as ferns or even orchids, look great in the bathroom.

You can place vases and pots on the floor here too, or mount shelves on the wall (or inset into the wall!) to house various plant types.

Seeing the greenery of nature in the spaces we live in helps our psychophysical well-being, and itis nice to be able to relax in a hot bath surrounded what looks like a green, lush oasis.

The kitchen: here too we can use the light to arrange shelves and vases/pots full of beneficial and useful plants (like herbs).

The kitchen is, in fact, the ideal space to grow aromatic herbs to use for cooking, and they will always be fresh and fragrant.

How do you use plants to decorate your home?
