Every year, children are involved, at school and at home, in the creation of themed projects to celebrate the various, most important anniversaries and holidays on the calendar. So, for those who celebrate Easter, it is also nice to display the decorations made by the children (or made together with them). These can be ornaments to hang up or string decorations to drape around the house, or even three-dimensional creations to be used in various compositions, like wreaths and table centerpieces, for example.

As starting material, you can use paper or cardboard, of many different types: the ideas are numerous and varied and suitable even for adults who want to indulge a little with a recreational, DIY activity. Take a look at those shown below:

An always popular idea to create is a bunny made with a paper plate. You can add ears made from the scraps of other dishes or with any scrap cardboard laying around, or even felt and EVA rubber!

If you have paper for activities such as scrapbooking or similar, you can use the cutouts to create three-dimensional eggs made of many "slices" in different colors.

Or you could create your own paper eggs so that they look like they are solid, and have a geometric, stylized, three-dimensional shape.

If by chance you have strips of paper or cardboard to hand (even those that are used to close the tops of trays of cakes bought in the pastry shop!). You can make thin strips to be folded and decorated as you wish to give life to stylized shapes, such as the head of a rabbit.

Or you can make carrots using the same method. And all these will be perfect decorations to be placed side by side on a string to create an unique strung, hanging decoration.

Do you have sheets of wrapping paper, even just plain white or brown wrapping paper available? You can cut out the shapes of heads of the rabbits and then decorate them with flowers!

Even the cardboard tubes from toilet paper rolls, or kitchen film rolls, can become Easter decorations.

Wouldn't you like tulips and butterflies hanging from the windows?

It doesn't take much to cut out the shape of a rabbit from a few cardboard boxes to make a decoration with a slightly more rustic flavor.

With a little imagination, any shape can be adapted to resemble a particular animal or similar decoration (like flowers, for example).

Even the outline of hands can be transformed into the petals of a paper lily!

Happy Easter to all!
