Easter decorations with a natural look: Use real branches and flowers to create elegant arrangements

Easter decorations are often a riot of pastel colors, adorable designs and cute little animals; but they could also be adapted in a slightly different way, drawing inspiration directly from the nature that surrounds us. Here then, one could use green or dry branches, plant cuttings, flowers, whole eggs or just shells which can be combined together to create compositions with a naturalistic and very sophisticated appearance.

Elegant centerpieces, wreaths, hanging decorations to be placed outside the home, and many more variations: let yourself be inspired by the many creative ideas like those you see below:

A bundle of thin branches, tied together at the base and hung from the ceiling: each one of these can be festooned with colorful ornaments such as painted eggs and will become an unique decoration which will bring much admiration.

If you like the habit of suspending decorations above the table for celebratory lunches or dinners, you can also take advantage of these ideas at Easter: the main support could be a small trunk or some thick branches arranged parallel to the table, and then many flowering shoots and leaves of various kinds can be added to soften the look and fill the decoration with color.

An alternative to wreaths or similar decorations to hang on a door or wall, could be a piece of bark adorned with moss, lichen, flowers, and more.

Alternatively, you could create a wreath made with almost any type of twigs you have available - not as a decoration for the entrance door but as one - which, being smaller - can be placed in a handmade container on some piece of furniture.

By intertwining flexible branches together, you can create many different shapes, and at Easter, the simple and recognizable shape of the iconic Easter egg always works well.

Or, why not simulate nature and create nests in which to place all the decorations we like (including eggs, of course)?

Branches can become the frameworks for compositions that have symbolic objects placed in their centers: from bunnies to doves to eggs.

If you have some terracotta jars, large vases or similar containers available to use for hanging compositions, you could create a thick crown of branches that descends down the sides, decorated with eggs and other themed objected.

As a table centerpiece, even if put together at the last minute, a piece of bark can be used in which to put eggs, flowers, moss, candles and more...

For a tall decoration to be placed on the ground, a log with natural objects put on it along with some symbolic objects - again, bunnies are always useful - is an easy and captivating idea.

And you could also use other supports in a similar way, even using metal pipes or columns (like an old chimney stack or extractor pipe).

Happy Easter!
