There is no magical formula to make the clutter disappear from homes forever, but you must constantly strive not to generate an accumulation of clutter and dirt on all surfaces of your home. And we can help ourselves to do this by resorting to some suitable clutter-banishing solution, such as using some furniture items and other accessories that can do this for us.
In reality, we cannot always predict in advance how to make the most of each space available in our homes, and therefore over time we acquire storage items to meet our needs. Baskets, storage boxes and more: take a look at the ideas below, there might be the idea you need right now!
A trolley with loads of shallow, but large and spacious drawers: this storage object can be useful in the office area, but also in a bathroom or in a corner where you dedicate yourself to creative work, like sewing, painting models and similar hobby-related activities.
In general, trolleys with drawers or baskets are very useful everywhere, from the kitchen to the bedroom to the bathroom. If you have space available close to a wall or between two pieces of furniture, always look for a trolley that can fit this space best.
A make-up organizer: when you can't use a drawer with all the compartments clearly identified by the dividers, these compact solutions - placed above/on the dressing table or on one of the the bathroom shelves - are a great help. Everything will always be ready and visible, and it will take less time to put your make-up on every day.
Not only that, but they can also come in handy as a desk organizer!
If there isn't a window sill next to the shower or a useful shelf near the tub, invest in a stainless steel storage holder to mount on the wall. You can find these in almost any size and shape; there are even those with multiple compartments and are equipped with hanging hooks. Using these hooks, you will no longer have bottles, gloves and sponges scattered around, and there will not be the risk of forgetting them laying around in puddles of water.
The space under the bed is one resource that should never be wasted. You can use old drawers on wheels, or more simply, use old travel cases with internal compartments and a closeable lid. Being generally rigid and very easy to use, cases like these (with a closeable lid/top) do not have the downside of filling up with dust, hair or animal fur over time.
Baskets: whether they are made of wood, metal, natural fibers, wicker, cane or fabric, you can never have enough baskets in your home. Make sure to choose them of the same type or with patterns that match the room you intend them to be used in, and they will help you to tidy up in style.
No space in the drawers or cabinets for the hairdryer? Choose a wall mount, like the one shown in the photo, to store your hairdryer and have it easily accessible at all times.
At the entrance to your home, or in a corner of the bedroom, it is possible that shoes start to pile up and create a cluttered area. To combat this, consider using an open shoe cabinet, which is slim enought so that it doesn't use up too much space, but is sturdy enough to hold the shoes placed on it (rather than being left around, cluttering up the floor). There are also foldable models which you could take with you on a camping trip, for example!
