Bathroom always messy? Get inspiration from these 12 IKEA solutions

When furnishing any room in our homes, we always try to satisfy a certain aesthetic taste without sacrificing liveability: with IKEA products, many find the perfect combination of design and functionality, and often at very affordable prices. And above all, the furniture and accessories of the Swedish furniture giant are often very versatile: i.e. the same item can be used in the bathroom, or in the kitchen or in the other rooms.

You just need the right inspiration and you will find a solution that brings order to a space and makes your rooms more livable. Here are some ideas that can be useful for organizing the space in the bathroom:

You have the furniture deployed, but all the objects on the shelves are piled up in disorder: it's time to divide them up and store them using the baskets, and the bamboo ones from the DRAGAN line adapt to any style.

Inside the drawers, on the other hand, customized and smaller dividers are needed. The GODMORGON set comes in various shapes and also comes with a lid.

And wouldn't it be very useful to have a light inside the deepest drawers and inside the largest compartments of the unit, like the one we have under the sink?

Three VARIERA inserts, to be used as shelves inside other furniture, can become the shelves of a small and compact shelf to be mounted on the wall.

There are aldo shelves made of metal rods that are handy as towel racks, but they can also be the support area for storage baskets, including wooden ones.

However, if humidity is a problem, you will not run any risks with the larger trays, also from the VARIERA line which are useful in any room of the house.

If you have a washing machine in the bathroom, you may find it useful to have a basket in which to throw towels and bathrobes when they are dirty.

The alternative to having many thin shelves can be rails with hooks: if you hang baskets, whether they are soft or rigid, you can put just about anything in them. They are perfect for brushes and combs.

And hanging storage boxes, like the pocket style ones you usually put behind doors and use when camping, are also cute hanging on the wall.

A very popular piece of furniture in smaller bathrooms is the VESKEN slim trolley which tucks into those spaces between the wall and the furniture and that are otherwise never used.

Just like in the kitchen, a rail fixed to the side of a piece of furniture is perfect for hanging towels on.

And the idea of using small and narrow shelves (those designed for spice racks or picture frames) as compact and space-saving shelves in the bathroom - perhaps even repainted if desired - is always a good idea.

What solutions would you adopt for your bathroom?
