There are many plastic bottles we use every day, and all these objects have colored caps of various sizes and diameters to close them. When we finish using a bottle, usually both the bottle and its cap end up in the garbage - but the caps (and even the bottles!) can become the raw material with which to create fantastic projects full of imagination.

From the simplest ideas suitable even for children, to the more complicated ones that require a minimum of planning and a few more tools, below we suggest some creative recycling projects using plastic caps:

A simple project that requires a little patience and a lot of hot glue: many circular rows of plastic caps, which rise upwards in different shades to create a useful storage basket. The size will depend on how many caps you have, but beware: they must all be the same shape and size.

Another object holder, smaller and perhaps suitable for pens, brushes or even toothbrushes: the caps form flowers which are then glued together.

Whether it's for Easter or any other festive occasion ... but even without requiring a special event: a basket with a handle can be useful all year round, and you can then decorate it with many items such as faux flowers and more!

No risk of these roses dying!

For a cube-shaped table lamp you will need white caps, as "transparent" as possible. The result is a furnishing accessory with a truly captivating design.

There are even those who use colored plastic caps to make a lampshade for a large chandelier.

Keep all those caps of different sizes and colors, and then use them as if they were pieces of a mosaic to create truly incredible three-dimensional decorations.

Many colored chains attached to a branch: it looks like a cheerful and colorful harp, ready to be played.

Make a hole for a piece of string, and then let the little ones free to have fun with paint and brushes to decorate personalized necklaces.

It takes very little to make a portable game of tic-tac-toe (noughts and crosses), or even checkers (draughts)!. Perfect for keeping busy on days spent indoors or outdoors!
